SAFETY MEASURES
WARNING: Failure to observe safety precautions may result in injury.
Many manufacturers mark some safety warnings, recommendations and usage restrictions directly on the product. However, it is not always practical to include even the most limited safety information on the product itself. Therefore, the operator MUST READ and FOLLOW all instructions supplied in or on the product container as well as those marked on the product.
- After mounting allow the wheel to run freely at its recommended speed for at least 5 min. Apply this test run for both new wheels as well as old wheels, re-mounted for grinding.
- Operator must compulsorily wear safety goggles & face shields to protect himself from sparks & swarf. Use protective aprons, gloves, safety shoes, mask to enable operator to work safely.
- Only certified & trained person should mount the wheel.
- Check wheels for damage before mounting. “Ring test” helps the user to ensure that the wheel is in good condition.
- Do not use damaged or dropped wheels
